Showtime!

Showtime!

Since I last wrote, we’ve mostly been at shows of various sorts. We’ve exhibited twice, visited another trade show (to catch up with Cervin) , and had our own show for the press to see our new collections.

The last one was the most fun. We wanted to do something less frenetic than the usual evening catwalks, so with Playful Promises and Lulu and Lush, we had an afternoon of tea, cakes and creativity!

We had cakes from the Great Cake Escape, a fabulous pair who carefully theme their fairy cakes!

We had tea from Betty Blythe, a quintessentially English tearoom in London in lovely 20′s style.

We had Two To Tease provide a lovely burlesque performance and show off the lingerie and corsets.

But most of all we had lots of fun with paint and trims and glitter, and found that fashion journalists are just as creative with knickers as they are with words!

So now . . . I get a couple of days of posting pretty pictures before our new collection all arrives in many, many boxes, and I have to start writing press releases for the people that came to the show.

Many many thanks to our photographer for the event – thanks to him we now have lots of extra pictures of the Van Mimi, which we’ve already used to entice people into buying I’m afraid.

Oh, and last show for all of at least a month, we are at the Goodwood Revival next weekend! So come and say hello and get discounts and shiny new things and all sorts!
